Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect what we need to sell your stuff — your contact info, your item photos, and transaction details — and we don't sell your personal information to anyone. The rest is below.

1. What we collect

  • Account info — your name and email, and whatever else you give us (like a phone number).
  • Your items — photos you take and the listing details created from them.
  • Subscriptions — purchase history and subscription status. Apple handles App Store payments; we don't receive your card details. RevenueCat uses account and device information and purchase details to manage your subscription and access.
  • Usage data — device information and how you use the app, so we can fix bugs, improve the product, and measure advertising performance.

2. How we use it

To run Offload: identify your items, generate and publish listings, negotiate with buyers, manage subscriptions, prevent fraud, and message you about your sales. If you joined the waitlist, we use your email to tell you about the launch.

3. AI listing generation

When you snap a photo of an item, we send that photo to OpenRouter, Inc., the AI service that powers our listing agent, where it is processed by model providers such as Anthropic to identify your item and write your listing. That is the only thing your photos are used for. They are not used to train AI models, and no other personal data (like your name or email) is sent to our AI providers.

4. What we share

We share data with service providers who help us operate — billing and subscriptions (Apple and RevenueCat), cloud hosting (Cloudflare), and AI services (OpenRouter and its model providers, such as Anthropic) — plus buyers, who see your listings (that's the point), and authorities when the law requires it. Every provider we use is required to protect your data to at least the same standard we hold ourselves to. We do not sell your personal information.

We use Firebase Analytics and Mixpanel for app analytics and Meta for advertising measurement, sharing account and device identifiers, name or email, app activity, and purchase information as needed for those services.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active and as long as we need it for legal and tax reasons. Want your account and data deleted? Email us and we'll take care of it.

6. Children

Offload is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes

As the product evolves this policy will too. Material changes get a new date above and a notice in the app.
